Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you provide?

What does each package include?

Each package includes 1 Initial Visit and 3 Weekly Check-ins. During your initial visit, we will go over the information you provided before your visit and discuss your current measurements, concerns, and goals. After your visit, I will create and send your personalized recommendations within 24 hours. During your Weekly Check-ins, we will discuss what you have accomplished during the week and I will make adjustments as appropriate.

How much does it cost?

Each package only costs $200 and is prepaid. This includes the entire month, and you are never left with a surprise balance. You are never locked into a contract as all services are simply month-to-month. We do not accept insurance and all packages are non-refundable. If you have shopped around for a dietitian, then you know how affordable our packages are. We make every effort to provide you with quality care and proven resources to help you reach your goals faster, and want you to feel like you are receiving value and dignity when you step through our doors. We also offer a Refer-A-Friend program to cut costs more that can be applied to future packages.

How are services offered?

For local patients, we have an office in Amarillo, TX where we can visit with you in-person for your first visit and any monthly follow-ups. For patients who don't live nearby or need more flexibility, we will visit with you virtually for your visits. Whether you are seen in-person or online, all Weekly Check-ins are completed over the phone or by video call. We always let you decide which you prefer.

Do you offer meal plans?

We do not offer meal plans because they are too restrictive for our purposes. We focus on nutrition education and counseling so you learn how to make decisions for yourself. When appropriate, we will send food ideas that we believe will help you gain a better understanding of how to reach and maintain your nutrition recommendations.

Where do we workout?

Rather than working out together, you are provided an interactive workout plan that contains links to help you with technique as you go through each exercise. If you ever have questions, we are always happy to assist you by breaking down exercises you may find challenging. You have the freedom to workout at your home, outdoors, or at the gym. Mark will design your workout plan based on your preferences and what resources you have available.

How long will I need to continue services?

Everyone has different needs. Some patients feel equipped and independent with the resources we provide after 1 month, other patients desire the continued monitoring and personalization during their entire journey. We recommend at least 2 - 3 months of service because 8 - 12 weeks is peak time to notice significant changes in your body according to many trusted industry guidelines, including those recommended by the ACSM Exercise is Medicine Program Guidelines. We will never pressure you to continue and do not think you should ever have to explain to a provider your reasons for stopping care. Patients are always welcomed back after taking a break.
